I am doing well. The recovery from the C-section was different from what I am used to, having given birth vaginally 5 times previous. I don't think that I person truly understands what muscles you use in your body to do things like adjust your self while sitting or stand up after laying or sitting down, until your stomach is cut open and sewn back together. Holy h3ll!!! I am so thankful that my hubbie was able to help me so much in my recovery. I am not sure what I would have done without him. I would have been stuck on the couch FOREVER! That would have been interesting for sure. The scar isn't bad at all....here is a belly pic so that you can see for yourself.
Picture taken @ about 14 weeks post partum.
What do you think ladies?
The twinkies are doing so well!! "N" send me updated pics of the peanuts every month and they look amazing! Soooo cute! You will have to take my word for it as I want to respect "N & J's" privacy , and have not asked permission to add pictures of them.
They recently took a trip to see "J's" family, so the twinkies had their first trip on an airplane. What an adventure that must have been!
Things are going well in my world. Not sure yet what is next for me, but exploring some different options. I am excited to see what the future will hold.
Will keep those of you reading posted...
Stay tuned!!!!

Holy crap you look amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the scar! Constant reminder of what an angel you are to that family! xo
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing!! I'm not even talking about my pp belly yet and it's been over 18 months!
ReplyDeleteYour belly looks great! In a year, you won't even be able to see the scar, trust me! It will be so tiny and faint.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad hubby has been around for you during recovery and that things are going well.
